AI for custom furniture · built on MCP

Your design software just learned to listen.

Móveis Basilio is building MCP connectors that let AI assistants operate Promob and the other tools custom furniture runs on. Describe the change. The software does the clicking. You approve the result.

Custom furniture has great software and no one to talk to it.

Promob and its neighbours already hold the whole project: every panel, hinge and edge. But getting a quote out, a cut list out or a variant in still means menus, exports and retyping. We are building the layer that lets an AI assistant do that work through the software's own doors, with a person signing off at the end.

For workshopsStop redrawing what you already drew.

One model feeds the quote, the cut list and the production order. A change upstream flows downstream. The saw does not start until someone says yes.

  • Quotes from the model, not from a second spreadsheet
  • Cut lists in the order the panel saw needs them
  • Every order reviewed by a person before production

For architectsTalk to the project, not the menus.

Ask for a variant, a different material or a tighter budget, and get a revised proposal with drawings and numbers while the client is still in the room.

  • Variants described in plain language, Portuguese included
  • Price impact shown next to every change
  • Your software, your files, your workflow

How it works.

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the open standard that lets AI assistants call tools. We are writing the tools for the furniture trade.

  1. 01

    Connect

An MCP server exposes what Promob can do, such as open a project, resize a module, swap a material or export a cut list, as tools an assistant can call.

  2. 02

    Ask

The architect or the workshop describes the change in plain language. The assistant plans the steps and runs them inside the software you already own.

  3. 03

    Approve

Every result lands as a proposal: what changed, what it costs, what it cuts. A person approves before anything reaches the client or the shop floor.

Three rules we are building by.

  • Your design software stays yours. We add a door, not a replacement.
  • Nothing leaves the workshop without a human yes.
  • Promob first. Then the ERPs, the optimizers and the machines that follow.

Where we are.

Early planning, founder-led. We are looking for a handful of workshops and architecture studios to shape the first connector with us. Tell us where the hours disappear in your week.
